History of ARTBAT:

The Ukrainian electronic duo ARTBAT, which has more than 2 million listeners per month on YouTube Music, was founded by Artur Kryvenko and Vitaliy Limarenko. The guys met in a club in the capital of Ukraine, already having a lot of musical experience and being successful DJs. Given their similar tastes and views, it was only a matter of time before they formed a duo. So, in 2014, they started making music and ARTBAT was born. Their debut track "Mandrake" was released in the summer of 2015.

In 2017, ARTBAT presented several releases at once. Their first EP "Trip", as well as the later popular tracks "Uplift" in a compilation on the Diynamic Music label, the track "Tabu" and others. The following year, the duo released another album, Planeta (EP), which included 3 tracks, each of which has collected more than half a million plays.

2019 was an important year for the ARTBAT. In the spring, the electronic duo played a live show at Cercle in Rio de Janeiro, and the video of this performance gained more than 30 million views on YouTube. In the summer, ARTBAT became a part of Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1. The fall also did not pass without significant events, on September 16, the duo received the Breakthrough of the Year award from the DJ Awards, and this is not the only award this year. According to the British magazine Mixmag, ARTBAT became the best-selling artist on Beatport and became "Stars of the Year". The third EP Upperground was released in 2019.

In 2021, Artur and Vitaliy founded their own music label, called Upperground. The following year, ARTBAT released the EP Our Space and several singles.

ARTBAT are bright representatives of Ukraine on the international electronic scene, who have not only their own tracks, but also joint compositions with such world-famous artists as Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Idris Elba, Pete Tong and others. The duo performs all over the world, including ARTBAT's participation in Tomorrowland, Coachella, Awakenings, and other festivals.
