History of ARTBAT:

The Ukrainian electronic duo ARTBAT, with more than two million monthly listeners on YouTube Music, was founded by Artur Kryvenko and Vitaliy Limarenko. They met in a club in Kyiv, already with extensive musical experience and success as DJs. Given their similar tastes and views, forming a duo was only a matter of time. In 2014 they began producing music and ARTBAT was born. Their debut track "Mandrake" was released in the summer of 2015.

In 2017, ARTBAT presented several releases at once: their first EP "Trip", as well as later popular tracks like "Uplift" on a Diynamic Music compilation, the track "Tabu" and others. The following year the duo released another EP, "Planeta", which included three tracks, each of which has collected more than half a million plays.

2019 was an important year for ARTBAT. In spring, the duo played a live Cercle show in Rio de Janeiro, and the video of the performance gained more than 30 million views on YouTube. In summer, ARTBAT became part of the Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1. Autumn also brought significant events: on September 16, the duo received the "Breakthrough of the Year" award from the DJ Awards, and it wasn’t the only accolade that year. According to the British magazine Mixmag, ARTBAT were the best‑selling artists on Beatport and were named "Stars of the Year". The third EP "Upperground" was also released in 2019.

In 2021, Artur and Vitaliy founded their own music label, Upperground. The following year, ARTBAT released the EP "Our Space" and several singles.

ARTBAT are bright representatives of Ukraine on the international electronic scene, with their own tracks and collaborations with world‑famous artists such as Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Idris Elba, Pete Tong and others. The duo perform all over the world, including appearances at Tomorrowland, Coachella, Awakenings and other festivals.
