KDK's music career

Kavabanga Depo Kolibri, or KDK for short, is a Ukrainian rap band founded in Kharkiv. Oleksandr Plisakin and Dmytro Leliuk met through their creative ideas, while Roman Manko joined them later. Similar views on music, mutual respect, and understanding created a trio that has been captivating fans with deep tracks for more than 10 years.

The first two years of the band's collaboration resulted in two albums, "Самовыдуманный рай" and "Бесконечный Шум", which were released one after the other and each consists of 12 tracks. On the first record KDK released their early hits, including "Рисуя" and "Я буду твоим", and the second album featured the hit "Больше нет тепла на двоих", which has over 60 million plays. Immediately after these releases Kavabanga Depo Kolibri went on tour in Ukraine.

These albums and the tour brought the band their first major success, and without taking a long break, the following year Kavabanga Depo Kolibri released their third full-length album "KDKin". The album included 19 tracks, among them "Царапины", "Петарды", "Колибри" and "Снег", and further strengthened the band's position on the Ukrainian rap scene.

In 2016 KDK once again delighted fans with two albums at once. In June they presented "#ИДИСНАМИ", a release that included tracks such as "Лабиринты", "Мой пульс", "Без оправданий" and others, and in October they followed it with the album "18+", which contained 10 tracks.

In 2017 the band released the first part of a conceptual trilogy, "Зачем нам звёзды", followed in 2018 by "Зачем нам звёзды, Pt.2", which featured the songs "Глубина", "Пятница", "Не заводись" and "Медляк". Before the third part, "Зачем нам звёзды, Pt.3", which was released in 2022 and won over fans with the tracks "Целуй", "Солнце", "Рассвело" and "Так и передай ей", Kavabanga Depo Kolibri also released the album "911".

Over the next few years KDK released many successful singles, including "Насолода", "Любов, як осінь", "Сон", "Аромат", "Квітень", "Як ти там", "Краще не стане" and many others, and continued to build an international audience. In 2023 Kavabanga Depo Kolibri embarked on a European tour, visiting Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, Wroclaw, Warsaw, and other cities. The year 2024 was also filled with concerts, and in 2025 the band went on their biggest tour yet, giving dozens of concerts around the world, including performances in the United States.
