Dua Lipa's success story

World-famous British singer Dua Lipa was born and raised in London in an Albanian family. Her father, who was the lead singer and guitarist in a rock band, introduced little Dua Lipa to the world of music, so the future star attended music lessons from an early age.

The first step towards a great musical career was signing a contract with Warner Bros. Records in 2014. The following year, Dua Lipa began working on her first full-length album, and in the summer, she released debut single "Be the One," which became a huge success. After a few more singles and her first concert tour in 2016, Dua Lipa released her debut album. The album Dua Lipa cemented her breakthrough, with tracks like “IDGAF”, “New Rules”, and others topping the charts. “New Rules” is still the singer's most popular song, with over 3.9 billion plays on YouTube Music.

Her second album, Future Nostalgia, was released in the spring of 2020 and brought the singer wild success once again. This album included the songs “Don't Start Now”, “Levitating”, and “Break My Heart” and others. Individual singles and the album itself were nominated for several prestigious music awards and won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.

In 2023, Dua Lipa made her film debut, playing a mermaid in the movie Barbie, which featured her song “Dance the Night” as its soundtrack. After that, the artist released the singles “Houdini”, “Training Season”, and “Illusion”, which were included in her third studio album, Radical Optimism, released in 2024. That same year, the singer presented her debut live album, Dua Lipa Live From the Royal Albert Hall.

Dua Lipa's songs have hundreds of millions and even billions of plays, and the singer's work and she herself have been recognized with numerous music awards and dozens of nominations, while tickets to her concerts sell out in minutes.
