History of Jodok Vuille:

JODOK CELLO, an impressive cellist and social media star, whose real name is Jodok Vuille, began his musical journey at a very young age. He studied at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where he completed his preparatory course and later his bachelor's degree. The last step in Jodok's musical education was a master's degree in solo performance.

After studying, for about ten years, Jodok worked as a music and sports teacher alongside his concerts. Back then, he started making his first videos, which he first published on YouTube, and later on Instagram and TikTok. After some time, the musician quit his main job and began to rapidly develop his online project, which brought him worldwide fame.

The peculiarity of his work is the combination of modern songs and classical music, as well as incredible natural views and cello playing. He filmed his first video of playing in the middle of the spectacular nature during the pandemic. Using a drone and a cello, the artist managed to create a breathtaking video on his own: Alps, sunset, and Jodok playing the cello on the side of a cliff. This moment was a turning point. Today, the musician has millions of followers on social media, gives concerts all over the world, and fascinates many people with his playing. 

He says about himself:

"I'm a Swiss cellist with a passion for bridging the worlds of classical music and contemporary hits."

And this is another feature of his work mentioned earlier. In his performance, the songs of Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran, Christina Perri, Alan Walker, Coldplay, Adele and many others open up from a new and beautiful side.

In 2026, JODOK CELLO or as he is also called The Barefoot Cellist is planning a World Tour that will last for 3 years and will start with live concerts in London, Paris, Prague and Krakow. This is a great opportunity to see and hear a musician who has conquered the world with his love of music, talent, performance and energy.
