Khamerman Znyshchuye Virusy (Хамерман знищує віруси) is a Ukrainian band consisting of two musicians: vocalist and lyricist Volodymyr Pakholiuk and vocalist and musician Albert Tsukrenko. Prominent representatives of the Ukrainian underground scene, they blend punk rock, techno-punk, drum and bass, and pop music into their sound. Their songs are characterized by irony and the grotesque; they often satirize social issues, human insecurities, pseudo-morality, and other similar themes.

The Formation and Development of the Band

Khamerman Znyshchuye Virusy was founded in Sumy back in 1996. At its inception was Ukrainian sound engineer Mykhailo Kapusta, who brought together musicians Albert Tsukrenko, Pavlo Sypal, and Volodymyr Pakholiuk, who at the time were playing in different bands. Their diverse backgrounds and blend of musical styles made the band unique representatives of the Ukrainian music scene.

In its first few years, the band won awards at the "Chervona Ruta" festival and the "Perlyny Sezonu" competition. Throughout their career, Khamerman Znyshchuye Virusy has repeatedly headlined music festivals, including "Faine Misto" (Ternopil) and "Zaxidfest" (Rodatychi).
