Morandi: Biography, Hits, and Concerts

Morandi is a Romanian pop group whose dance-driven sound became popular across Eastern Europe and beyond. The project combines melodic pop, electronic production, and club rhythms with lyrics about love, relationships, and strong emotions. Rich vocal arrangements and memorable hooks helped make Morandi one of the most recognizable names in regional Eurodance.

The Story of Morandi: From Formation to Reunion

Morandi was created in the early 2000s by Marius Moga and Andrei Ștefan Ropcea, known as Randi. The project's name combines parts of their names. Its first single was released anonymously to clubs and quickly became a hit, while the debut album "Reverse" later achieved gold status. The lineup expanded with a percussionist and two DJs, and the group released two further albums, "Mindfields" and "N3XT".

After a highly successful period, Morandi went on hiatus. The project later returned with Marius Moga and Randi, beginning a new chapter while retaining the melodic dance sound associated with its biggest releases.

Morandi's Biggest Hits and New Music

Morandi's best-known songs include "Angels (Love Is the Answer)", which topped charts in several countries, and "Save Me", recorded with Helen. Another major release, "Beijo (Uh La La)", spent nine weeks at number one on the Romanian Top 100. Following the comeback, Morandi released "No Sleep" and continued its new era with "Give It Up" in 2025.
