Since founding in 1976, the band has gone from releasing their debut album to becoming icons of the heavy metal scene. With a lineup including vocalist Udo Dirkschneider, guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, and bassist Peter Baltes, the band released a series of cult classics: "Breaker" (1981), "Restless and Wild" (1982), "Balls to the Wall" (1983), and "Metal Heart" (1985).

It was "Balls to the Wall" (1983) that marked the band's major commercial breakthrough, paving the way for large-scale concert tours. Even after the departure of Udo Dirkschneider, who launched his own project, U.D.O., and despite major lineup changes and creative hiatuses, Accept has confidently continued to make history and has been wowing audiences with its iron-clad energy for half a century.

Accept's signature anthem is the legendary "Balls to the Wall" - a song that has repeatedly made it onto lists of the best metal tracks of all time. Among Accept's countless hits are also "Princess of the Dawn", "Teutonic Terror", "Midnight Mover", "Metal Heart", and "Pandemic."
