From first steps in music to a cult artist
Music came into Iryna Bilyk's life early. As a child, she studied vocals and dance, later attended a music and theater studio, and performed in a children's ensemble. The future star received higher education at the Kyiv Gliere State Music College and Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts.
Iryna Bilyk began her career by creating her own repertoire, which led to performances at major festivals such as Chervona Ruta, Pisenny Vernisazh, Maria, and Slavyansky Bazar. Soon after, she released her first albums and started touring across Ukraine. Her 1997 tour “Tak prosto,” which covered 25 cities, became a record milestone in her early career. This was followed by international tours, awards, and charity projects that made Iryna Bilyk not only one of Ukraine's most popular singers, but also an artist with international recognition.

The first major breakthrough in her career came with the album “Ya rozkazhu” (1994). A year later, “Nova” was released, opening a new chapter in Iryna Bilyk's artistic path. The 1997 album “Farby” brought enormous success, sold a record number of copies, and received the “Album of the Year” award.
The most iconic songs in Iryna Bilyk's career include “Tak prosto” from the album “Farby,” named Song of the Year in 1996, as well as “A ya plyvu” and “Odinokaya” from the same record, which also became widely popular. Another special song in her repertoire is “Sneg,” which was later translated into Ukrainian.

Throughout her career, Iryna Bilyk has paid great attention to live performances, regularly meeting audiences at solo concerts and taking part in cultural events.
