Anastasiia Prudius and her musical journey:
The real name of Ukrainian singer KOLA is Anastasiia Prudius. She was born in Kharkiv and has been involved in music since childhood. Although she has been developing as a musician from an early age, her road to success was not easy.
In 2016, KOLA first participated in “The Voice of Ukraine,” joining Potap’s team. She reached the knockout stage before leaving the show. Afterwards, she worked for more than three years as a vocalist on “Dancing with the Stars.” In 2021, KOLA returned to “The Voice of Ukraine,” performing “Sexy and I Know It” by LMFAO during the blind auditions — a performance that turned all four chairs. She chose Monatik’s team and reached the semifinals. Later, she returned to the stage for the third time, this time as a guest artist, performing her song “Buty prostym” (“To Be Simple”) in the grand finale of season 13.
Since 2022, her career has skyrocketed. The music video for “Chy razom?” quickly gained hundreds of thousands of views and entered YouTube’s trending list, while the song itself topped the charts. KOLA continued her rapid rise, releasing several more successful singles that year — including “Dochekaius” and “Bilia sertsia” — as well as the album “Navkolo.” In 2023, the artist presented the mini-album “Muzychnyi Shchodennyk” (“Music Diary”), which included songs such as “Tsinuvaly zhyttia” (“Cherish Life”) and “Po vodi” (“By the Water”).
She tours across Ukraine, takes part in charity concerts, and collaborates with other Ukrainian artists. In autumn 2025, KOLA will embark on her first major European tour, performing in 15 cities together with her band.
With every song, KOLA proves that music is about sincerity, authenticity, and honesty with oneself and others. Her concerts have a unique atmosphere, and her energy captivates the audience from the very first moment.
