Ivo Bobul is a Ukrainian singer and composer who has left a significant mark on Ukrainian pop music. Career development

Ivo Bobul began his musical career as a member of vocal and instrumental ensembles, the first of which was “Море”, and later he also participated in the groups “Черемош” and “Жива вода”. After gaining experience in these groups, the artist released his first solo compositions.

The artist also participated in vocal competitions, such as “Молоді голоси”, as well as others, including in Sochi and Yalta. Later, Ivo Bobul began working at the Ternopil Philharmonic, and after that became a soloist at the Chernivtsi Regional Philharmonic.

Ivo Bobul gained nationwide popularity in the 1990s, when the world saw the hits “Старе джерело”, “Рідна хата”, “Місячне колесо” and “Голуба вода”. At that time, he was awarded the titles of Honored Artist and People's Artist of Ukraine. During his career, Ivo Bobul has released more than four albums, toured America, and collaborated with many Ukrainian composers and poets.
