Andriy Danylko first presented his original idea, the colorful saleswoman, singer, TV presenter, and actress Vera Valeriivna Serduchka, at the Poltava Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater.
In 1993, in Poltava, Verka Serduchka performed at a humorous competition, where she won over the audience and judges with her cheerfulness and sarcasm. The year 1997 was special in the artist's career and brought several achievements. It was then that Verka Serduchka gained nationwide popularity thanks to her participation in an entertainment show on the 1+1 TV channel. In the same year, the artist released her first song, "Born for Love", and in December she held a Christmas concert in Kyiv.
In 1998, Serduchka presented her debut mini-album "Born for Love", and at the same time released her first music videos. The next year, Verka Serduchka impressed fans with her show performances "Evening with Verka Serduchka", which were wildly popular. After that, the artist embarked on a major concert tour of the CIS countries. In 2001, Verka Serduchka presented a new show, "Crazy Verka Show!", and two years later her first full-length album, "Verka's Greatest Hits", which went platinum and also included Verka Serduchka's most famous song, "Dance All Over Europe".
Actress Radmila Shchogoleva, who played the role of her silent assistant Helya, also performed with Verka, but in 2004 Verka Serduchka was joined by her "mother", actress Inna Bilokon, who remains the artist's constant stage partner.
A separate achievement in Verka Serduchka's musical career is representing Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. Her performance is considered one of the most iconic; the artist performed the song "Dancing Lasha Tumbai", took second place, and became famous throughout Europe. After participating in the contest, in 2010 Verka went on tour to Israel and Australia, and later also visited the Czech Republic and Spain with concerts.
After a creative hiatus, in 2017 Verka Serduchka marked her return to the big stage with a concert at the Atlas Weekend 2017 festival. Also, after a long break, in 2020 the artist released the mini-album "Sexy", which included the song "Make It Rain Champagne".
